1. Read the Dive Case manual thoroughly before use. Failure to
observe and follow instructions may lead to damage for which
Insta360 is not liable.
2. Update Insta360 Ace Pro 2 firmware before first use of Dive
Case.
3. Removing the Wind Guard and Mic Cap from Insta360 Ace
Pro 2 does not affect the camera’s waterproofing, but dampness
may impact sound quality. Before using the camera with the
Dive Case, remove the Wind Guard and/or replace it with the Mic
4. Before each use, latch the Dive Case without the camera
inserted and check for leaks by following these instructions:
– Slowly submerge the latched Dive Case in water. Stop and
remove if air bubbles escape from the case.
– While underwater, operate buttons for several minutes to
ensure there are no air bubbles.
– Once the leak check is complete, remove the Dive Case from
the water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
– Open Dive Case and ensure inside is dry.
5. When sealing the Dive Case, ensure there are no foreign
objects preventing the case and rubber seal being completely
secured on both the body and rim.
6. Do not have the case open in locations with sand, dust and
other particulate matter, as this may damage both the camera
and case.
7. After latching the Dive Case, double-check that the seal is
completely secure on both body and rim.
8. The Dive Case is not shock-resistant. Strong vibrations,
impacts and applied pressure may darnage the case and reduce
the waterproofing performance. When diving into water with
Insta360 Ace Pro 2 in the Dive Case, the recommended
maximum dive height is 6.6ft (2m) and drop distance onto a
solid surface is 3.3ft (1m).
How to Use
1.Open Dive Case
As shown in diagram, slide and hold the lock lever to the left
(1) and push the buckle upwards (2). Then, unhook the buckle
(3) and open the Dive Case.
2. Insert Camera
Insert the camera in the manner shown in the diagram.
Notes:
1. Take care not to scratch the camera’s lens when inserting it
into the case.
2. Before entering water, swipe down on touchscreen to open
camera settings. Click the lock icon ( &) to lock the
touchscreen and prevent accidental presses.
3. Attach Anti-Fog Inserts
Attach the anti-fog inserts to the inside of the Dive Case as
shown in the diagram to ensure they’re securely fitted.
Notes:
1. To prevent potential damage when using third-party anti-
fog inserts, ensure that Anti-Fog Insert 1 is no larger than
20x30x1mm (0.8×1.2×0.1in) and Anti-Fog Insert 2 is no larger
than 10x14x1mm (0.8×0.6×0.1in).
4. Close Dive Case
To close the Dive Case, latch the buckle onto the case’s hook
(1) and firmly push down until you hear a click (2).
Notes:
1. Before use, confirm the case is fully closed and that no
dust, dirt or other particulate matter is between the Dive Case
and the rubber seal.
2. For the best shooting results, keep the Dive Case lens clean.
5. Attach Anti-Slip Rings
Before connecting the Dive Case to other accessories, attach
the Anti-Slip Rings onto the prongs to enhance stability.
Notes 1. Do not open the Dive Case while it is wet.
2. After using product in salt water, remove camera and soak Dive Case in fresh water
for 5-10 minutes. Then, rinse gently under a faucet. Do not apply a high-pressure,
single-direction water flow as this could cause a leakage.
3. Ensure there is no sand on the Dive Case before drying as it may scratch the surface.
4. Use a soft, dry cloth to ensure any residual salt and moisture has been removed from
the Dive Case. Do not directly apply heat to the case as this may cause damage.
5. Do not clean the Dive Case with soap, natural detergent, alcohol cleaning products or
organic solvents as this may degrade the case’s waterproofing.
6. Avoid contact with cosmetic products such as creams, lotions and makeup to prevent
discoloring and staining the Dive Case.
7. Do not store the Dive Case in a hot and humid environment. In particular, do not leave it
inside a hot car.
8. Store the Dive Case in a dry, well-ventilated location.
