How to Use
Installation
1. Insert the camera. Loosen the screw at the top to open the mount (@) and insert the
camera as shown below (@). Close the mount and secure it by tightening the top screw.
2. Secure the mount onto the kitesurfing lines.
Kitesurfing Mounting
1. Loosen the screws on the side of the mount.
2. Secure the mount onto the kitesurfing lines. Ensure that the screws are tightened and secure.
Do not mount the screw-fixing side onto the safety line!
Important
1. Do not mount the screw-fixing side onto the safety line. For 4 Line kitesurfing kits, if both
middle lines are safety lines, your kit is not compatible with this accessory.
2. For 5 Line kitesurfing kits, one line should be secured on the screw-fixing side while the other
two (safety line included) should be secured on the other side of the mount.
3. The weight of the camera mounted onto the kitesurfing lines may affect re-takeoff on water.
Wakeboarding Mounting
1. Loosen the screws on the side of the mount. Detach the rope buckles on both the top and
bottom of the mount.
2. Secure the mount onto the tow line as shown. Ensure the rope passes through both the top
and bottom rope buckles. Make sure the mount is tightly fixed onto the tow rope by the screws.
Notes
1. The rope diameter range suitable for Kitesurfing and Wakeboarding is 1 mm ~ 8mm,
and it is necessary to ensure that the strength of the rope meets the requirements of
these two sports.
2. As this accessory is used around water, please read the camera’s waterproof
instructions carefully before use, and make sure to properly close the battery lock cover
and USB lock cover. Strong vibrations, shock or pressure to the camera may
compromise the waterproof performance.
3. For Kitesurfing Mounting, if using a safety line, please follow instructions in this
manual and be sure that the safety line is not tied to the screw-fixed side.
4. For Kitesurfing Mounting, the optimal position for the camera is 20cm~30cm away
from the rope knot. If the two lines are too far apart, it will affect the installation of the
mount.
5. For Wakeboarding Mounting, do not pull apart the rope buckles frequently and
excessively, otherwise their service life may be compromised.
6. This accessory is only suitable for Insta360 X3, do not use it with other cameras. While
using, keep your camera lens away from hard objects, such as sand, in case of
scratches on the lens.
7. Do not DIY it with other accessories.
